i've been a football referee since 10/may/2002. i'm proud of it. After 11 years as football player i decided to change the point of view in the football world. i played in 3 teams (Cividalese of Cividale del Friuli, 3 years - Moimacco of Moimacco, 4 years - Aurora Buonacquisto of Remanzacco, 4 years) in the young teams, then i played 2 years again in Aurora Buonacquisto under 18 and after those i became a player of the first team but those adventure stopped some monrhs later. a wrong relation with the coach made me change my way. I decided to become a soccer referee. just after my first matches as referee i was sorry not to start this adventure before. Being a football referee is wonderful. It makes me feel good and satisfied for a lot of reasons:

• i'm the main protagonist of the match;
• i have fun;
• i can have an overview about all the football world;
• i get some mileage allowance (i didn't get anything as player);
• i do a lot of sport;
• i can learn more about my country streets and areas;
• i gain important responsibilities.

I suggest this experience to everybody. if you're not persuased too i suggest you at least to attempt because i think that you'll love this sport after a few matches only. After only for years i referee in the 'Promozione' category and i keep on training to be able to referee at least in the 'Eccellenza' category. some colleagues refereed me al lot of time ago (one of them expeled me :D) but now my category is better than theirs and this is a wonderful result for me. In short, with this post i want to inaugurate my blog sport section and to start talking about my referee experiences.
